Advent & Christmas Music and 2-Minute Tuesday
Hello Reader, I hope you are finding meaning and hope at the end of the year. Here's a quick note to share some hope and cheer. Advent and Christmas Music!Two songs for you! Most of you know that I make music with A Beautiful Liturgy, a duo with my daughter Emilie. This season, like many others, we get to share our music with local churches and I thought I'd share some with you, too. One is our Advent song "You're Coming Soon" remixed by my nephew Kyle Kirkpatrick. The other song is UNRELEASED and never heard by anyone outside of the churches we shared it with! We began writing "Heaven Stepped Down" in 2018 and finished it years later in time for a Christmas service in 2021. This recording is from an iPhone in the back of the room from that service.
